Consumer Representatives offer perspectives and insights based on personal lived experience of mental illness and informed by collective views and principles of mental health consumers.

To request engagement of a consumer representative, download and fill out a request form then send it through to crs@mhlet.org.au.

How to apply
to be on the Register

If you would like to become a National Consumer Representative and join the National Consumer Register, please email the following to Consumer Representative Service crs@mhlet.org.au: •A current copy of your CV or resume •A short summary of any consumer representative, advocacy, advisory, or lived experience roles you have been involved in •Details of any relevant training you have completed (for example, consumer representative, leadership, advocacy, governance, or peer workforce training) To be eligible, you must have lived or living experience and be interested in using your experience to help improve services, systems, and policies, while ensuring consumer voices are heard at a national level. Email your application to: crs@mhlet.org.au.
